Three years on the series is still a success. Now set to film the fourth season, humorous and titillating, the show hosts a bevy of beautiful female characters and engaging plot lines, both for Hank and his friends and family. In the first season alone, we see Hank struggle to raise his daughter, win back his ex and get his career back on track, all the while meeting bewitching and willing bed partners. At the same time, we watch as his best friend dabbles in an office affair, and the beginnings of a new fetish. The series deals openly with the topics of lust, love, flirtation, and of course, fornication!
This show is not for the prudish, this series has no qualms with nudity or taking the camera into the bedroom. But not just an overzealous sex obsessed satire, the standout performance of the actors makes Californication, a mixture of comedy and drama, a show of substance.
