The use of the service and all the features requires you to register to Gleeden’s website. Becoming a member allows you to access public areas of the Service and use unpaid services such as the search function, viewing segments of other Members’ profiles, or send crush alerts to other Members.
In order to gain access to all the tools available on Gleeden, each member must purchase a Credit Pack or Membership either by using credit card, check or Ticket Premium (available for purchase online or at a newsstand).
Gleeden offers the following Tools to facilitate interaction within the community:
- Private messages,
- Live chat,
In order to access these tools (or “Communication Tools”), which are essential to communicate and initiate encounters with other Members, you must purchase either Credits or a Membership as more fully explained below.
"Member(s)" refers to any or all valid registered users of the Gleeden Service who have or have not paid or purchased credit packs or memberships to use Gleeden.
Gleeden offers three tiers of membership to allow Members to expand their use of the service: purchase of a Credit Pack, VIP Membership, or Diamond Membership.
Article 1. Credit Packs
The prices and the terms of payment for the different Paid Services are displayed bellow.
Credit Packs (all prices include tax): the Member purchases a certain amount of units or “Credits” which he can use on gleeden.com to initiate encounters by using the Communication Tools.
The addition of Credits to a subscriber’s account occurs upon receipt or shortly after a valid transaction (successful online transaction) has been completed.
A member can contact Gleeden at any time during the process of purchasing credits.
Credit Value System :
- - Sending the first private message to another member: 4 credits – all subsequent correspondence between the same two members is free.
- - Reading the first private message: 3 credits – all subsequent correspondence after the first interaction is free.
- - Accepting a request to open a book: 1 credit.
- - To open another member's book for the first time: 2 credits.
- - Instant Messenger: 4 credits per session.
- - Answering an instant Message: 3 credits for the session.
The credits are debited at the first response to each instant message conversation.
If a member disconnects during a chat conversation, he has 45 minutes to reconnect his session without paying any more credits.
Credits will automatically be deducted from a Member’s account upon use of the Communication Tools with other Members.
Promotions allow Members to earn free trial credits to try the website and all the communication tools. Any promotion or free credits (offered by Ticket Premium for example) that provides member-level access to the Service must be used within the specified time of the offer.
Article 2. VIP Membership and Diamond Membership
Memberships (all prices include tax): for a monthly fee, or a one-time fee, the Member can gain unlimited use of all Communication Tools offered by Gleeden for a period of 6 months from the date of purchase.
- - VIP members receive acknowledgement of receipt when they send messages and virtual gifts.
- - The profiles of VIP members are displayed on other members’ home pages to increase their visibility.
- - VIP members have a higher ranking in the search tool, so their profiles appear first to other members, improving their visibility.
- - VIP’s receive 100 virtual gifts to send to other members (worth more than 5000 credits).
Article 2.1 Terms and Conditions for In-App purchases (Itunes Appstore & Google Play)
Members can also purchase credits through the smartphone application.
These applications are provided by another service provider (such as iTunes or Google play) and therefore may be subject to other payment terms and conditions than those used and available to Members on accessing the site via Gleeden.com.
Any such applicable terms will only be apply to one-off purchases, and all relevant terms and conditions associated with these payments will be brought to the attention of the Member prior to purchase.
Gleeden is not responsible for any credit(s) or credit pack(s) purchased via the smartphone application or any other mobile service(s), and therefore the subscriber should not contact Gleeden regarding In-App purchases in iTunes. Subscribers using Google Play may contact Gleeden with regard to In-App purchases.
Article 3. Conditions of Payment.
Credit Packs and Membership are paid in advance. A Member cannot contact another Member without purchasing a pack or membership. However, please note that a Member can communicate with VIP Members (purchasers of VIP or Platinum) for free if the communication is initiated by the VIP Member.
Payment can be made using one the following methods:
- Credit / Debit Card:
- Visa Electron
- American express
Ticket Premium is an easy, reliable and secure way to pay. With Ticket Premium, you can buy your credits in cash without using your credit card directly on Gleeden's website.
Ticket Premium cards are available at most newsstands (France and Belgium) or on the Internet (information and list of outlets is available on www.ticket-Premium.com)
Gleeden.com only accepts Ticket Premium. Ticket Surf is not accepted.
Ticket Premium is available in France, Belgium and the UK.
Once your payment is successfully processed and you agree to make a payment using one of the available Payment Methods, credits will automatically appear on your personal account.
All purchases are final. No refund is possible under any circumstances, excepting the condition of illegal use or stolen identity. Fraudulent payment and Identity theft are punishable by law.
Article 4. - Right to Cancel (for residents of the EU ONLY)
According to Distance Selling Regulations (for residents of the EU ONLY) This section applies to only to a "consumer" as defined in the EU Directive on Distance Selling 97/7/EC, as transposed by each State of the EU in its own laws (See for instance, UK's Consumer Protection (Distance Selling Regulations 2000)) and resident within the EU: in that case, you may cancel your order for Services by giving us written notice within seven (7) business days of placing the order; with the provision that you may not exercise the right to cancel if performance of the Services (consumption of credits purchased in a pack) has begun, with your consent, before the end of the period of seven (7) business days. Within 30 days of receipt of a notice of cancellation, Gleeden will issue a refund. This right of cancellation only applies to the initial purchase of Gleeden’s Services (any packs); this clause does not apply to subsequent purchases of similar Services.
Article 5. Renewal, Upgrades and Cancellation Policy.
Gleeden.com may correct any billing errors or mistakes made, even in the event of already requested or receipt of payment through the customer service.
Section 5 applies to and includes any agreements made with Gleeden.com on the Website when becoming a Member to the Service. The terms of payment will be based on Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between the Member and the financial institution, credit card issuer or other provider the selected Payment Method. If you initiate a refund or reverse a payment made with your Payment Method, Gleeden has the right to, at its discretion, terminate the Member’s account effective immediately. If we successfully dispute the reversal, and the reversed funds are returned to us, you are not entitled to a refund, or to have your account or subscription reinstated.
Credit Packs: once all credits in a Credit Pack are used, there will be no automatic renewal of the pack. The Member will have to purchase new credits through his personal account (visa, check or by using Ticket Premium services).
5.2. Pack upgrade:
A Member may switch to a superior pack category (a Credit Pack containing more credits, or switch from a Credit Pack to a Membership) if the two (2) following conditions are fulfilled:
- The upgrade is requested within a twenty four (24) hour period following the purchase of the initial pack,
- (for Credit Packs only) The Member has not used the credits in his first Credit Pack.
If a Member requests to be permanently removed from Gleeden, that Member will not be reimbursed for unused credits or the value of the Membership. However, if a Member chooses to suspend his or her membership, then the corresponding profile will be removed from the public areas of Gleeden, but all unused credits will be preserved until membership is reactivated (this does not apply to VIP Membership which expires at the end of its term).

Each purchase of initial and recurring credits is non-refundable.
In some cases, Gleeden may issue a refund to an account. Refund enquiries must be processed through customer service (email@example.com).
The Refund period can take up to 30 months.
